BYSTRONIC BYSPEED 5.2KW 3015
Arrow Laser's ongoing commitment to improving our level of service,
saw the retirement of our oldest laser cutting system. Our old Laser-Lab
Multicontour is now happily in service at our sister company Ausfab
Plastics. As a dedicated "in-house" acrylic cutter, it supplies
Ausfab with raw parts specific to the acrylic fabrication industry.
It's replacement came late 2007 in the form of a new Bystronic Byspeed
5.2KW
This machine boasts incredible speed and power, unrivalled against
the majority of other laser cutting service providers in Australia.
Specific features of this machine include:
- Axis acceleration of up to 3G or 30000 mm/sec/sec and axis maximum
speed of 120000mm/min. This significantly reduces time in between
cuts as "non cut moves" are almost instantaneous. This
reduces production times and increases throughput, particularly
on thin gauge materials.
- Constant, regulated laser power with a maximum of 5200 W. This
enables faster processing of all materials and enables thicker materials
to be cut with ease - 20mm mild steel, 16mm stainless and 12mm aluminium.
- Low wear on the drive thanks to Bystronic's gentle, dynamic Direct
Helical Motor (DHM) drive. A rotating nut spinning on a stationary
ballscrew, enables high accuracy with minimal rotational weight.
- A fully enclosed machine compartment for zero emmisions and complete
operator safety. All exhaust fumes are filtered and returned as
clean air.
